We are currently looking for highly motivated Testers to join our team in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Job Description
The Tester or Quality Assurance Operator (QAO) is a flexible part-time position (ideal for students!) within GamePoint’s QA team for about 8-24 hours a week during the daytime. You will maintain and guard GamePoint’s quality by testing our games on both Web and Mobile Devices before any update, no matter how big or small. In addition, you will be performing regression tests for the website and perform checks on all upcoming features and improvements.

We expect you to:

  • Pick up assigned Test Requests
  • Accurately follow test-cases
  • Execute Ad Hoc tests and try to break your assigned feature
  • Reproduce submitted bugs from our Community
  • Create bug reports and test all resolved tickets
  • Reporting blocking or urgent issues to the QA Manager

Requirements:

  • A healthy passion for games
  • High accuracy and a good eye for detail
  • Genuine team player with a hands-on attitude
  • Above average computer skills (affinity with any programming language is a plus)
  • Fluent in English

Unity 3D Developer

We’re currently looking for a motivated Unity 3D developer to join our team!

The Unity3D Developer has four major tasks:
• Front-end development of tablet and mobile games
• Develop synchronous and asynchronous tablet and mobile multiplayer games
• Porting to multiple mobile operating systems
• Implementation of client-side code based on GamePoints framework

You have the following qualifications:
• A creative person with a passion for games who has worked in the gaming (or similar) industry
• Experienced in developing clean, responsive and performant games/applications
• Knowledge of technical constraints, optimization and implementation
• Advanced level of proficiency with the Unity game engine & strong knowledge in working with UGUI
• Big sense of responsibility, commitment and flexibility
• Be able to prototype, test and implement new features quickly
• Have a high sense of quality and polish
• Successfully worked on at least one shipped mobile game
• Proactive in learning and developing your skills to the next level
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English

A portfolio demonstrating all aspects of your skill is required.

Bonus Skills
• Experience working in an agile project environment
• Affinity with casual games
• Knowledge of and an interest in usability and freemium best-practices
• Experience in user interface design on multiple platforms
• Proficiency in building apps for touch and experience implementing smooth and responsive movement and animations

We’re currently looking for a motivated UI/UX Game Designer to join our team!

Job Description:

As a UI Designer you will have a leading role in designing an unforgettable experience for millions of players.  With your superior UI and UX skills, you should be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and transform them into beautiful, intuitive and functional user interfaces.

You will be part of multiple teams, overseeing that the level of UI and UX is of an phenomenal level across all our upcoming and existing mobile and desktop games.

Requirements:
• A creative person with a passion for games who has worked in the gaming (or similar) industry
• Mediocre level of proficiency with the Unity game engine and UGUI
• Experience in user interface design on multiple platforms
• Used to take on projects from a very early stage, from written brief to final production
• Ability to create polished, visually appealing, user friendly, consistent and distinct UI art assets
(e.g. menus, buttons, icons and animation etc.)
• A well-developed sense of composition
• Used to working with Adobe CS package
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Proactive in learning and developing your skills to the next level
• Being an excellent team player with great communication and organization skills

A portfolio demonstrating all aspects of your skill is required.

Bonus Skills:
• Knowledge of technical constraints, optimization and implementation
• Knowledge of and an interest in usability and freemium best-practices
• Skills in animation and special effects
• Experience working in an agile project environment
• Previous experience from creating casual and/or mobile games
