German Support Operator

We are currently looking for a highly motivated German speaking SUPPORT OPERATOR to join our team in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Job Description
It concerns a temporary part-time position from the 22nd of June 2015 for approximately 4 months.

As a German Support Operator you are part of our international Support Team that deals with the German speaking community. You will answer a wide range of customer inquiries about GamePoint, our games and community-related matters and thus helping to improve our customers’ satisfaction. The German Support Operator is active in our chats, answers the phone and takes care of incoming Support tickets by mail and through various Social Networks.

Responsibilities

  • Being active and providing support in the German chat
  • Taking German support calls by phone
  • Dealing with incoming support tickets in the Helpdesk
  • Commenting on support inquiries on various social networks
  • Moderating and answering replies on our blogs
  • Providing web care support
  • Several forthcoming activities

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Native German speaker
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to handle complaints in difficult and busy situations
  • A polite, thoughtful and friendly attitude
  • A high level of empathy and strong customer focus
  • Genuine team player with good people skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to manage incidental and planned challenges during non-business hours

Team Lead Quality Assurance

Job Description:
The Team Lead Quality Assurance is a full-time team leading role within GamePoint’s QA team. The Team Lead Quality Assurance will maintain and guard GamePoint’s quality by writing and enhancing proper testcases, test structures and test procedures. As a Team Lead Quality Assurance you are also responsible for running test cycles, and dividing tasks amongst our team of Testers. In addition the Team Lead Quality Assurance will set up and coordinate player based tests, set up a team of testers from the GamePoint community and channel feedback to the developers.

Responsibilities
• Managing a team of Testers
• Develop and maintain manual testcases
• Maintain, implement and enhance test- and bug reporting procedures
• Maintain direct contact with the Test Engineer
• Running test cycles and set up test assignments
• Execute ad hoc tests
• Updating and fixing localization issues
• Coordinating player based tests
• Setting up a team of testers from our own community
• Educate and train testers on the QA process
• Generate test reports and channeling feedback back to developers and management

Required Education, Experience and Skills
• Experience with Quality Assurance
• A passion for games
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Self-motivated and willing to “do what it takes” to get the job done
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated team leading capabilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy

We are currently looking for a highly motivated JR. MARKETING MANAGER to join our team in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Job Description:

The Jr. Marketing Manager is a new role crucial in our plans for future community development. The Jr. Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing community events for our 1M+ monthly active users across more than a dozen major markets.

As Jr. Marketing Manager you are expected to work on your own initiative and bring ideas as to how we can use community events to further grow retention and engagement for an already highly engaged group of users. You are expected to communicate brand messaging, personality and benefits through events that have a measurable impact on time spent, return frequency and monetization.

Job success is based on combining the needs of the growth- and community management teams, while having or attaining excellent online skills and experience using social media as a marketing tool. The Jr. Marketing Manager is expected to develop (and execute) the community event roadmap with input from other parts of the business, but will require little supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving marketing to support the development of our ever-growing online community in order to meet target growth, engagement and monetization goals
  • Leveraging social media tools to effectively market community events
  • Building relationships with other parts of the business, as part of the growth team
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining innovative online events that capture the attention of our player base in a very crowded market
  • Working cross-departmentally to continuously improve community events for a better end-user experience
  • Developing and monitoring community event success metrics in collaboration with our data analytics department

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Experience with online community building
  • Understanding of social media and how it can be used as a business tool
  • Excellent presentation, numeracy, literacy, verbal and written communication skills
  • High Proficiency in MS Office packages, including MS Word and MS Excel
  • Effective time- and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • The ability to think and operate with a global community, encompassing many languages and cultures
  • Enthusiasm for the games industry
  • Two – three years’ working experience in marketing-, event- or community management
  • Some data processing experience e.g. basic statistical knowledge
